KBC 16: Can you answer the legendary Rs 25 lakh question that shocked one contestant?
In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, contestant Ravi Kumar could not answer the legendary question of Rs 25 lakh. Ravi impressively won Rs 12,50,000 in the show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
In the latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, signal maintenance employee Ravi Kumar from Rajasthan took the hot seat. He shared the struggle of water scarcity in his village, revealing that he has to buy water daily to survive.
Ravi also requested host Amitabh Bachchan to urge the government to address the issue. The game then began, with Bachchan presenting questions one after the other and Ravi eventually reaching the first stop, facing a question worth Rs 10,000.
The question asked to Ravi was, “What is the name of the process by which food is broken down into simpler substances?” He confidently selected option B) digestion. Next, he was faced with the ‘Super Question’: “In which sport did Aman Sehrawat win the bronze medal for India at the 2024 Paris Olympics?” Ravi gave the correct wrestling answer and earned the super power ‘Dugnastra’.
Revealing about his life, Ravi Kumar said that he is one of four siblings. He shared that both he and his elder brother never truly experienced their parents’ love, as their parents were often busy working to support the family.
Despite the challenges, he made every possible effort to provide her with an education. To help financially, Ravi and his elder brother went out separately to earn money for the family. He also narrated how his father, a labourer, met with an accident at a construction site, breaking his arm, leaving the family to struggle with no income for six months and mounting debts.
Now, Ravi is determined to ensure that his father gets proper medical care.
Ravi faced the question of Rs 25,00,000, but after exhausting all his lifelines he decided to leave the game. The question was: “According to the Mahabharata, who gave the boon to Bhishma that he could die only if he wished?” The correct answer was option B) Shantanu.
Ravi leaves the game and takes home Rs 12,50,000. After this Big B said that now he will be able to repay his loan of Rs 7 lakh.
