“I didn’t want it to look like it was created in the gym and rather it was something that was more natural. When I am in the middle of achieving a goal, I take it very easy and give my body time to relax and not put too much pressure on myself,” Katrina said.
Sometimes, when she has a stage show or a photo shoot, the Tiger 3 actress resumes her functional training with all the weights, lunges, etc. “I do it for about a week to 10 days and then balance it out with easier things for the rest of the month,” she said.

The actress, who is a fitness enthusiast, advised them to eat healthy and exercise. Since we only have one life and one body, she did not recommend any specific type of body shape exercise or body image as body well-being and the feeling that comes with it is completely personal and depends on the individual.
“It’s all about mental peace, discipline and a sense of achievement. You are the only person who knows what is right for you and it is only you who has to decide what physical goal you want to achieve. Once you decide on that goal and reach it, you feel a sense of achievement which motivates you to pursue other things in life. It’s a great thing to have a sense of determination and motivation for everything in your life,” he shared.
Diet and Nutrition of Katrina Kaif
She said that she does not follow any specific rule for her food and does not follow any kind of fad diet. Katrina prefers to eat light after 7 pm and tries to eat a good amount of protein, vegetables and carbohydrates like rice, potatoes and sweet potatoes etc.
However, she just avoids dairy, gluten, wheat and too much refined sugar. “It’s very important to be aware of the foods you crave and allow yourself to enjoy them from time to time, but also be able to stop yourself and not let it distract you from your goals,” she said.
In an interview with Vogue, Katrina’s nutritionist Shweta Shah once said that the actress’ overall diet is built around giving her energy-rich foods so that she can workout well and also follow her busy schedule. She further added that Katrina’s energy levels, good skin and hair are a result of her healthy and clean diet.
Shah further added that Katrina understands her body well and chooses foods that are ‘clean and healthy’. Her meals often include seasonal vegetables and she avoids dairy and gluten and is not very fond of snacking.
In a conversation with GQ India, Shweta revealed that the Merry Christmas actress’ favourite meals include steamed fish, edamame and avocado salad, zucchini or quinoa pancakes, lentil stew, lettuce wraps and vegetable soups with zoodles, drumsticks and broccoli. Homemade date balls are a must to satiate her sugar cravings.
In 2023, during an ‘ask me anything’ session on Instagram, someone asked about her food preferences and the actress responded with a picture of food and wrote “Turi ki sabji, cauliflower sabji and broccoli soup.”
Shweta Shah once told that Katrina has a Pitta body type, which means she needs alkaline foods to balance this dosha. For this, she eats eight soaked raisins with fennel in the morning. Kaif drinks a lot of gourd, celery and cucumber juice.
