Kate Winslet reveals how she was asked to hide her belly fat
She never ceases to amaze with her powerful and versatile performances. Recently, Titanic The actress opened up about her struggles with body image and the pressure to look perfect in Hollywood. The actress, who is promoting her upcoming film Took, talked about how comments on her body image affected her mental health. In an interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, she revealed how the criticism left her devastated and as a result, she developed an eating disorder. “There was a lot of bullying of me in the media and that really upset me,” she said. Recalling her childhood days, she said, “We spend a lot of time putting ourselves down and I’ll never do that again.”

The actress also revealed how she had completely stopped exercising before filming began. Took so that her body automatically looks soft. Recalling an incident when a crew member commented on her body, she said, “There’s a part where Lee is sitting on a bench in a bikini… and one of the crew came in between shots and said, “You should probably sit up a little straighter”; to which she replied, “So you can’t see my stomach rolls? Never in your life! It was intentional, you know?” The star also revealed how proud she is of her body and how she would never think of covering it up.
