Actor Suria’s upcoming action-drama ‘Karuppu’ was first unveiled before his 50th birthday. The teaser of the film will also be launched on July 23, 2025 on his birthday.

In the new poster of ‘Karuppu’, Suria can be seen wearing a black shirt, wearing a pair of lungi and aviants. In the power-pack look exading style and swagar, the actor can be seen smoking cigars. Launching Suriya’s first look, the production house Dream Warrior Pictures captioned the X post, “With immense love and respect, we want @suriya_offl sir Advance Happy Birthday! To celebrate in style, ‘Karupu’ teaser comes at 10 am (SIC) at 10 am!”

The film is directed by RJ Balaji. Earlier, on Balaji’s birthday, the first poster of ‘Karuppu’ was shared, which showed Surya in a dark background without revealing her face. The silhouette shows a man to a man carrying a weapon, the possibility of a sword. Its purpose was to announce the official title of the film, which was first, temporarily named – ‘Suriya 45’. The X Post confirmed the same reed, “With pride and excitement, we present the title of ‘Suriya 45’: ‘Karuppu’. A name that is the soul, soul and purpose (SIC) to the soul of our story.”
