Filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to make his much-awaited debut in the OTT streaming space. He is set to direct a grand web series for Netflix. The ambitious project, a personal passion project for Johar, will feature an impressive team of renowned female actors.

Karan Johar, known for his blockbuster films, will direct this untitled series for Netflix. The script has been completed and production is set to begin in early 2025.

Karan along with his team is working extensively on the subject and is excited to debut in the digital world. “The web series is now in its casting stage and the idea is to bring together a bunch of renowned actors. Being a Karan Johar show, the web series is considered to be Netflix’s most ambitious upcoming project. It will be shot in 2025 and is set to stream in 2026,” according to sources.

After the web series, Johar will return to the big screen with a grand action film.

Meanwhile, his upcoming production film Jigra, starring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina in the lead roles, is set to release on October 11.
