Karan Johar supports Alpha amid trolling, praises Alia Bhatt’s drama
Amid online trolling, filmmaker Karan Johar has come out in support of Alia Bhatt’s film Alpha. He praised the actor’s theatricality and urged the audience to celebrate big screen cinema instead of spreading negativity.

Sharing his thoughts on the launch of the film, Johar wrote, “When viewership is a challenge, Alpha Makes a solid start! It emphasizes several things; The audience is far above online negativity, and they are true warriors.”
He then went on to praise Bhatt’s screen presence and the film’s big screen ambition. “Alia Bhatt’s stardom and dramatic charm and undeniable talent and impact of big screen spectacle is undeniable, and YRF has an ongoing franchise and an effort to create dramatic tentpole experiences that requires our applause, not any toxicity!
