Most films maintain a four -week window from their dramatic release, before the film makes its debut on an OTT platform. However, for Kannappa, Vishnu Manchu has fully signed up for a special two-block agreement.

An OTT play report states that the Telugu actor has participated with one of the major streaming giants for the OTT release of his film, signing a special two-block agreement.

Kannappa’s only two-block for OTT release

The first section of the agreement signed by Vishnu Manchu suggests that if the film proves to be a hit at the box office, it will be released on OTT only after a dedicated dramatic run of eight weeks.

Although it is not only more than the normal 4-week window, the actor is asked to determine a specific amount for the case.

However, the second section of the OTT deal agreement refers to the position if the film weakens at the box office. In this case, Kannappa will be released within a month of its dramatic start.

Additionally, Vishnu Manchu has stated that it has been ensured that a significant part of his investment in the film was recovered only with subsequent cold rights. However, these are only reports at this time, and there is no definite confirmation on the matter from the actor or manufacturers.
