Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar undergoes bladder removal surgery in America
Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar’s surgery on Wednesday was successful and he is now stable and improving, his family said.
Kannada film actor Shiva Rajkumar underwent successful surgery for bladder cancer in the US on Wednesday. The actor’s condition is currently stable and he is recovering, his family and doctors have confirmed.
Dr. Murugesh Manoharan said that an artificial bladder has been created using the actor’s intestine and his condition is stable.
“We are pleased to share an update on Shiv Rajkumar’s recent medical procedure. The surgery conducted earlier today was successful, and we are happy to report that Shiv Rajkumar is now in a stable condition and recovering,” he said.
His family also said that “the surgery conducted on Wednesday was successful and we are happy to report that Shivarajkumar is now in a stable condition and recovering”.
According to a statement from his family, the actor is being given exceptional care by a dedicated team of highly skilled doctors and medical staff to ensure his recovery and well-being.
Before leaving for the United States, an emotional Shiva Rajkumar expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the tremendous love and support he has received from fans and well-wishers.
Shiva Rajkumar, the eldest son of Kannada matinee idol Rajkumar, is the senior-most of the three actor brothers, Puneeth Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar. He made his silver screen debut in 1974 with Srinivas Kalyan and has acted in over 125 Kannada films.
Shiva Rajkumar established his mark with iconic films like Janumada Jodi, Jogi, Anand, Rath Saptami, Nammura Mandara Hoov, Om and Chigurida Kanasu.
