Kangana Ranaut’s message to young Indians after Siya-Ketan case: Live conservatively
Actress Kangana Ranaut reacted to the Sia Goyal-Ketan Aggarwal case and urged the youth to live a conservative life. His comments came as police confirmed claims of a secret marriage and examined digital evidence in the murder investigation.

Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut on Monday reacted to the Sia Goyal-Ketan Agarwal affair, using it as a context to speak about the choices of young people. Sharing a report on Instagram Stories, the 39-year-old said that the youth should channelize their energy into creative paths and “think with an open mind but live a conservative life”.
His post came as the investigation into the murder of Pune realtor Ketan Aggarwal took a new turn. Police suspect that Siya Goyal may have secretly married Chetan Chaudhary about four months ago, while she was still engaged to Aggarwal. He said the claim was being verified, including whether the marriage was legally registered.

Referring to the case, Kangana wrote, “WhatsApp, Instagram, dating apps, benching, ghosting, double- or triple-digit body counts, crumbing, watching, testing, filters, stories, drugs, clubs – all this and more – and yet it is not enough. Obsession without a goal or purpose will find many such random self-destructive manifestations.”

“So passion is important, but not with your career or any skill. To the young and the restless, I want to say: put your energy on a creative path, think with an open mind but live a conservative life; this way you can avoid jail, boredom, negativity, depression and many such misfortunes.”
Earlier, Kangana had also reacted to the Pune Fort massacre and said that families should not be blamed for the actions of their children. He also questioned the impact of social media, artificial intelligence and peer groups on young minds. In one of her Instagram stories, she wrote, “These days, just by looking at families, homes or parents, you can never be sure about the sanskars (values) of children. More importantly, who is programming them, who they spend time with, what impact they have on SM/AI or real life.”
Recent developments in the case
According to Pune Rural Police, chats recovered from the phones of the accused suggest that Goyal and Choudhary may have got married secretly. Both are in judicial custody in the murder case of 25-year-old Aggarwal on June 18.
Police have alleged that Agarwal was pushed off a cliff at Lohagarh Fort in Pune district. She was engaged to Goyal and both were going to get married in November. Police are also examining mobile phone data and chat records as they piece together the alleged conspiracy behind the murder.
