Kangana Ranaut’s much-awaited political drama, Emergency, is likely to release in theaters after the Punjab elections. This film was earlier scheduled to release on 6 September. Now, India Today Digital has exclusively learned that the makers are targeting a post-election release.

Now, a source close to the production said, “After agreeing to all the terms and conditions of the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification), the team will probably release the film after the Punjab elections.
