Although Kangana did not mention any name, it is being speculated that her post is focused on the Alia Bhatt-starrer film, which had a modest opening at the box office on Friday. According to industry tracking site Sacnilk, the film earned approximately Rs 3.58 crore (net) across all languages in India on its first day.

The film also failed to impress and connect with the audiences and critics.

India Today’s review of the film stated, “Jigra could have been a better film if the story was not so straightforward. As an audience, you want to invest in a revenge drama. Bala starts the film with Well done, but after a while it starts to seem like a one-dimensional exercise in trying to build up and build big moments around their lead actress, the brother-sister angle on which the crux of the entire film hangs is so weak. It doesn’t take much time for the thread to break.

Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra also stars Vedang Raina in the lead role.
