She further added, “Parents can’t be blamed because people are living a lot of parallel lives. People carefully create desirable perceptions about themselves because it’s all about how they are seen, not how they feel or who they really are, so families can’t be judged based on children’s actions.”
His comments come amid the investigation into the death of 26-year-old businessman Ketan Agarwal, whose case has taken a dramatic turn. Ketan died on June 18 after falling into a nearly 400 feet deep ditch at Lohagarh Fort in Pune. The incident was initially reported as an accidental fall during the trek.
Actress Hina Khan had also earlier reacted to the matter and expressed surprise at the development on social media.
About the alleged murder of Ketan Aggarwal
According to the police, Ketan’s fiancee Sia Goyal had initially claimed that he had slipped while taking photographs on the side of the fort. However, investigators later examined CCTV footage of the area and spotted a man wearing a hoodie, despite the 33-degree heat, who was allegedly following the couple shortly before the incident. The man was later identified as 22-year-old Chetan Chaudhary.
Police have alleged that Sia and Chetan were in a relationship but she decided not to break her engagement to Ketan. During interrogation, Chetan reportedly told investigators that Siya did not want to run away as she feared it would bring shame to her family.
Investigators have also alleged that Sia had persuaded Ketan to repeatedly visit the Lohagarh Fort in the weeks before her death and believe that the alleged murder was committed on June 18.
Siya Goyal and Chetan Chaudhary are currently in police custody. Investigation is ongoing.
