Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the controversy over a song featuring Nora Fatehi in the upcoming film. kd – devil. The track recently sparked outrage online over its allegedly obscene and suggestive lyrics, following which the makers had to remove it from social media.

talking to ANI Regarding the controversy, Ranaut criticized the film industry and called for strict regulation regarding obscenity in films and music videos.

Ranaut said, “Bollywood has crossed all limits in terms of vulgarity, tactics and attention-grabbing. The entire country is condemning and reprimanding them. But I don’t think they have any shame.”

He further said that stricter measures may be needed to address such content. He said, “There is a need to take more strict action against the display of such indecency and obscenity. I think some strict restrictions will have to be imposed on Bollywood.”

The controversy started when the song Fatehi was released on YouTube. Many social media users criticized the track’s lyrics and visuals, calling them “vulgar” and “inappropriate”. Following the backlash, the song was removed from the platform.

After the protest, the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) has issued a notice to the manufacturers. kd – devilOn the alleged use of obscene and suggestive songs. The Commission demanded removal of the track from all social media platforms.

Meanwhile, the creator of kd – devil No official statement has been issued yet regarding the controversy.

Directed by Prem, the Kannada period drama stars Dhruv Sarja and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles. The film is produced by KVN Productions, the banner behind such projects Jan Naygan Starring Vijay and Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Adults Starring Yash.
