Veteran actor and producer Kamal Haasan has revealed a new look for his upcoming film project, sending his fans into a frenzy and drawing a heartfelt reaction from his daughter Shruti Haasan. This was revealed by Haasan’s production house Raj Kamal Films International through a post on social media platform X.

The image shows Kamal Haasan in a gray oversized hoodie, with slicked back salt and pepper hair and an extended goatee. The caption accompanying the photo reads, “New journey with a new look #JourneyBegins. #Ulaganayagan #KamalHaasaan @ikamalhaasaan.”

The legendary actor’s fans were quick to praise him and left comments like “Andawar new look! (sic)” and “What a look! (sic)” in replies to the post. However, many also speculated as to what project this new look could be for, with some suggesting that it could be for Haasan’s much-awaited 237th film. Earlier this year, it was announced that the Anbariyan brothers, famous for their work on KGF 2 and recent National Award winners, would be directing the project.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan recently completed shooting for Thug Life, a gangster drama directed by Mani Ratnam. The film features an impressive cast, including Silambarasan, Joju George and Ali Fazal, while the music is composed by AR Rahman. The completion of Thug Life was shared on X, along with a behind-the-scenes video capturing key moments of the production.
