In the paintings, Haasan was seen presenting a souveni for PM Modi from the Keladi archaeological findings, which many people in Tamil Nadu believe that the Tamil civilization confirms the antiquity. The Kailadi excavation near Sivaganga district in Tamil Nadu has detected compelling evidence for an advanced Tamil settlement in the 6th century BC, which suggests early urbanization, literacy and use of iron equipment.

Haasan, who is navigating between his film and political career, was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha in June 2025. The actor’s political visit took a new turn after his party Makkal Needi Miam formally joined the DMK alliance in Tamil Nadu.

Haasan took oath in the Rajya Sabha on 25 July 2025. His actor daughter, Shruti, also accompanied him to New Delhi and even dedicated a heartfelt note to his father.

As far as his film career is concerned, Haasan will be seen next time in ‘Indian 3’ (2025).
