Kalki Koechlin, who was last seen in 2023’s Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, has been a part of the Hindi film industry for over 15 years. She started her career with Anurag Kashyap’s 2009 film Dev D, in which she played the role of Leni/Chanda. The actress often makes headlines for her personal life and her dating history. Kalki has now admitted that she was in polygamous relationships in her younger days. The actress told that at that time she had no interest in settling down.
During a new interview with Hotterfly, Kalki Koechlin was asked if she could handle a polyamorous relationship in her life. Kalki said that the actress is married and has a child, so she does not have time for this.
Acknowledging her experience, Kalki said that she had been in such relationships before. The actress said that although polyamory is a choice, the person who practices it has to keep in mind the rules and limitations.
The Dev D actress further added that it may not be from your social circle and people usually don’t go deep into such relationships. However, she has seen people who have managed to maintain familial and polyamorous relationships at the same time.
Reminiscing about her days, the Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara star said, “For me, it was a very different phase of my life, I was very young. I was not interested in settling down, so it was fine. Thoughts That was to be each other’s main person but also be like an experiment.”
Kalki expressed that she would not be able to invest in a long-term polygamous relationship, unlike others.
Let us tell you that Kalki Koechlin’s first marriage was with film producer Anurag Kashyap. They married in 2011 and separated in 2013, followed by divorce in 2015.
Kalki is now married to her partner Guy Hershberg. The couple have a daughter named Sappho who was born in 2020.
