‘Kalki’ director Nag Ashwin calls Prabhas the ‘biggest box office star of this era’
‘Kalki 2898 AD’ director Nag Ashwin recently shared a behind the scenes photo of Prabhas. He praised the actor and called him ‘the biggest box office star of this era’.
Nag Ashwin, director of the science fiction film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, praised Prabhas and called him the ‘biggest box office star of this era’. The film, starring Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, was released in theaters on June 27 and is doing well at the box office.
Nag Ashwin shared a BTS picture of his ‘Kalki’ star on social media and praised Prabhas for the film’s success. He wrote, “This man who is sitting comfortably is the reason for all this, the biggest box office star of this era.”
Nag said, “He gave our production the confidence to do what we did, he gave me the freedom to do what I did and a lot of intelligent inputs helped take the film in the direction it is. Everyone’s favourite, our Bhairava and now the world’s K.”

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is on the verge of completing a week in theatres and it seems that its collections are increasing day by day. In six days, the Prabhas starrer has grossed around Rs 615 crore worldwide, breaking the lifetime records of several films.
Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ is a perfect blend of science fiction and Indian mythology. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan play the lead roles, while Anna Ben, Shobana, Pasupathi, Saswata Chatterjee and many others appear in supporting roles.
