Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is inching closer to the Rs 400 crore mark in India. The film’s collections saw a slight drop in its release on Tuesday, July 2 at the theatres and the total collections in India increased by around Rs 25 crore. As per reports, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has earned Rs 600 crore worldwide and is still running strong at the box office. At this rate, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is on the right track to earn Rs 1,000 crore worldwide.

‘Kalki 2898 AD’ released in theatres on June 27 in multiple languages ​​in 2D and 3D. The film has broken box office records since day one.

Kalki 2898 AD witnessed a slight drop in its collections as compared to the 5th day. According to the tracking website, SaconilcThe sci-fi film grossed Rs 27.85 crore in India on Tuesday, July 2. The Telugu and Hindi versions of the film grossed Rs 11.2 crore and Rs 14 crore respectively.

The Tamil and Malayalam versions grossed around Rs 1 crore on Tuesday.

The six-day total of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has now reached Rs 371 crore, with the Telugu and Hindi versions contributing the most (Rs 193.2 crore and Rs 12.4 crore, respectively).

The Telugu version of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ recorded an occupancy of 36.92 per cent on July 2. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ will see a slight drop in its collections during weekdays but will pick up again during the weekend. At this rate, the film will soon reach the Rs 1,000 crore earning milestone.

Written and directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 A.D.’ is a perfect blend of science fiction and Indian mythology. Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan play the lead roles, while Anna Ben, Shobana, Pasupathi, Saswata Chatterjee and many others appear in supporting roles.

According to reports, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ has been made on a massive budget of Rs 600 crore.
