Re-release of Kal Ho Na Ho earns Rs 25 lakh on 13th day; falls flat like the 12th day
Backed by late filmmaker Yash Johar, Kal Ho Na Ho collected Rs 2.02 crore in the first week of its re-release. It scored well on the second weekend also. The Shah Rukh Khan starrer had a low collection on its 13th day and collected Rs 25 lakh in India. The collection remained the same on the 12th day of re-release.
The box office collection of Kal Ho Na Ho has now reached Rs 3.95 crore in India.

Kal Ho Na Ho’s earnings and reception in 2003
Despite the latest decline in earnings, the re-release of Kal Ho Na Ho managed to draw crowds to the theaters and proved that Shah Rukh Khan’s superstardom is here to stay. Nikkhil Advani’s film earned Rs 38.5 crore as its lifetime collection in India when it hit the screens on November 28, 2003.
Written by Karan Johar, it proved to be a box office hit at that time. Ahead of its 21st anniversary, the romantic comedy-drama is set for a successful re-release.

Kal Ho Naa Ho is the story of Naina Katherine Kapoor, played by Preity Zinta, who lives with her family in New York. Shahrukh Khan plays the role of Aman Mathur, Naina’s neighbor who is madly in love with her. However, Aman initially avoids expressing his feelings to her as he has been diagnosed with cancer. Saif Ali Khan has been cast as Naina’s BFF, Rohit Patel, who studies in the MBA class with her. Rohit also falls in love with Naina.
