Bollywood actress Kajol is very active on social media. The actress recently paid an emotional tribute to Madhuri Dixit by recreating her iconic Hum Aapke Hain Kaun look.
A while ago, Kajol shared a number of her pictures on her Instagram handle. In a series of pictures, the actress looked stunning in a purple saree that featured a wide border with golden motifs and green and wine coloured pleats. She opted for nude makeup with highlighted cheeks and open hair and wore a beautiful necklace.
Giving details about her choice of sari, Kajol explained in the caption that it was a celebration of the timeless elegance of Madhuri Dixit’s evergreen song Didi Tera Deewana. She wrote, “Hum Aapke Hain Kaun… Ode to the OG (with wink emoji) @madhuridixitnene #didteradevardeewana #saree.”

Soon after the post was shared, the Dhak Dhak girl instantly reacted to Kajol’s sweet gesture. She praised Kajol by writing, “So beautiful” and ace designer Manish Malhotra shared several pink heart emojis. Meanwhile, her beloved husband Ajay Devgn hit the like button.
Moreover, several internet users praised the Do Patti actress in the comment section. One fan wrote, “When two of my favourites collide!!” while another fan commented, “You are so beautiful” while a third fan commented, “Real beauty” and another user wrote, “So beautiful and elegant” while another quipped, “Kajol did awesome Kajol” while another user called her a “timeless beauty @kajol”.
Notably, Kajol wore this special look for Manish Malhotra’s Ganpati Puja, which was held on September 7. Other Bollywood celebs including Kiara Advani, Rekha, Kajol, Ayushmann Khurrana, Arjun Kapoor, Iulia Vantur, Khushi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor were a part of the celebration.
Talking about work, Kajol will next be seen in Do Patti. Directed by Shashank Chaturvedi, the film is the first production of Kanika Dhillon’s Katha Pictures and Kriti Sanon’s Blue Butterfly Films. According to the teaser, Kajol and Kriti will play a police officer and a woman respectively. The film also stars Tanvi Azmi and Shaheer Sheikh in important roles.
