As director Prashant Neil celebrated his birthday-mid-midnight on 4 June, actor Junior NTR attended the ceremonies and saw his much awaited cooperation around ‘NTR-Nil’.

In a viral video, Neil is seen cutting a cake surrounded by family and close friends, in which JR NTR is also participating in the festival.

The actor shared a clear image of the filmmaker on X with a heartfelt birthday message, “Happy Birthday Prashant speaks loudly compared to words. There is more fire (SIC) on the screen here.”

In the photo, Neil covered his ears with a smile, inspired fans to guess that this could be a moment of a back scene from a blast sequence on his film set.

Neil, who had risen for the fame of Pan-India with ‘KGF’ and ‘Salar’, was also seen celebrating with the scene Anand in a video with Royal Challengers Bangalore’s IPL victory which went viral around the same time. Neil was seen cheering wildly on 3 June, a known RCB fan.

The upcoming project of the pair titled ‘Dragon’, allegedly, has already gone on the floor with NTR, which has joined the shoot. According to earlier reports, the film has been set against a period background, which began near the China-Bhutan-India border in the Golden Triangle region in 1969, and is expected to follow the emotionally charged story.

Produced by Mythri filmmakers and NTR Arts, the film was initially planned for a Sankranti release, struggling with Thalapathi Vijay’s ‘Jan Nayagan’. However, the manufacturers announced a new release date on 25 June 2026.
