Asha Bhosle was cremated with full state honors at Shivaji Park crematorium in Mumbai on Monday. Family, friends, film personalities, political figures and fans gathered to pay their last respects.
Born to classical singer and theater actor Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle started her singing career early and created a remarkable legacy. He also holds the Guinness World Record for the most number of studio recordings.
