Reliance has widened the reach of its JioTV+ app, which was previously limited to only Jio Fiber and AirFiber set-top boxes. Now, the JioTV+ app is also available on major smart TV platforms like Android TV, Apple tvOS, and Amazon Fire OS. This expansion enables Jio Fiber and AirFiber customers to access over 800 live TV channels and content from 13+ OTT platforms on various smart TVs through the JioTV+ app. But it is interesting to note that this service can only be availed by select users who have subscribed to JioFiber and AirFiber.

JioTV+ allows users to browse live TV channels and stream content from popular OTT platforms such as Hotstar, Netflix, and Prime Video, but only as part of select Jio Fiber and Jio AirFiber plans. However, access to JioTV+ is only available with specific Jio Fiber and Jio AirFiber plans, and users can now use JioTV+ on more than one device. Additionally, the app can now be downloaded on a number of modern smart TVs, provided they are connected to a Jio Wi-Fi network to unlock its content offerings.

To access JioTV+, eligible users simply need to log in to the app using their registered mobile number linked with their JioFiber or JioAirFiber account. After entering their details, they will receive a one-time password (OTP) for authentication, and after verification, they can start using the app.

Jio Fiber and AirFiber Plans for JioTV+ App

JioTV+ is bundled with Jio Fiber plans starting at Rs 999 per month for prepaid users, which offers 150Mbps speeds, and Rs 599 per month for postpaid users, which offers unlimited data at 30Mbps. Alternatively, Jio AirFiber users can access JioTV+ with the base plan of Rs 599, which includes 1000GB data at 30Mbps.

Jio TV+ App

Reliance Jio’s Jio TV+ app has a convenient single-login option to access multiple OTT apps. It also offers advanced features like a modern program guide, smart remote compatibility, playback speed control, catch-up TV, and personalized recommendations. Additionally, users can use filters by category and language to streamline their content search experience.

JioTV+ gives users seamless access to popular OTT platforms including JioCinema Premium, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony Liv, Zee5 and FanCode with a single login. The app also has a dedicated kids section with curated content. The app is also available for download on Google Play Store, Android TV, Apple TV and Amazon Firestick TV, with support for LG OS-powered TVs coming soon.
