Another couple is set to tie the knot! Jason Duggar will be the next member of the Duggar family to tie the knot. Duggar and his girlfriend-turned-fiancée Maddie announced their engagement on August 30.
Maddie, who changed her name on Instagram to Maddie Grace Duggar following the engagement, was overjoyed while sharing the news.
“On 8/24, Jace asked me to marry him, and I couldn’t be more excited!!” Maddie captioned the post, about a week after accepting his proposal. “Thank you @kaylajohnsonphoto_ for capturing this special moment so beautifully,” she added, thanking the photographer for the photos.
Jason said in the comments section, “She said yes!!
The engagement comes three months after the couple made their relationship official by sharing pictures of themselves holding each other while wearing white suits on the beach.
Aside from a few small announcements about their relationship, Maddie and Jason kept their union a secret until their engagement announcement. They are expected to marry by the spring of 2025.
Meanwhile, for a living, Jason is engaged in construction work, having started his own construction company, Build Master Construction, in Arkansas. According to the Fandom Wiki, in 2023, Jason also created his own tree care company, Tree Men in a Truck, in Springdale, Arkansas.
Jason Michael Duggar is the 12th child and seventh son of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. The Duggars are an Arkansas family that became famous from the TLC network show 19 Kids and Counting.
They are staunch Catholics who strictly adhere to the Baptist faith and conservative values, which means they avoid the use of contraceptives and birth control.
Interestingly, the Duggar family has 20 children (19 biological and 1 adopted) and 33 grandchildren from parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar.
All of the babies’ names start with J, and they are: Josh, Jana, John, Jill, Jessa, Ginger, Joe, Josiah, Joey, Jedidiah, Jeremiah, Jason, James, Justin, Jackson, Johanna, Jennifer, Jordan, and Josie.
