Screen writer and lyricist Javed Akhtar has spoken in support of Diljit Dosanjh, who is currently facing backlash to act with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir in his latest Punjabi film ‘Sardar Ji 3’. The film, released globally to 27 June (except India), has shook the controversy over its border casting, especially in the light of recent tensions.
In an interview with NDTV manufacturer platformAkhtar urged for a greater sympathy and rational approach about the situation.
