Jat’s box office performance emerges as a successful venture
Released on 10 April, Jat enjoyed a decent dramatic run. Despite facing hard competition from Kesari Chapter 2 and RAID 2, it ran to theaters for three to four weeks. The mid-shaped film may not have achieved a clean hit decision, but its box office performance still turned out to be better than many recent Bollywood films. The film wrapped the box office journey worldwide in a gross of Rs 112 crore. Out of which, the Indian markets got a gross of Rs 102 crore, while the rest, Rs 9.50 crore, was contributed by foreign sectors.
Bancharrol, JAAT emerged as a successful venture at the box office by Mythri filmmakers. The film has already been renewed for its sequel. The second installment of Mass Entertainer is currently in its scripting stage.
