Janhvi Kapoor, who was recently seen in the thriller film Uljhed, is now gearing up for the release of Devraa: Part 1. The film marks her Telugu debut and she will be sharing the screen with Jr NTR. The second song of Devraa, titled Dheere Dheere in Hindi, was launched by the makers today on August 5, 2024. Janhvi’s ever-supportive boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya reacted to the new song and went ‘wow’ after watching it.
Shikhar Paharia shared a post on Instagram Stories about his girlfriend Janhvi Kapoor’s new song from Devraa. He said, “Wah wah wah,” with a heart-eyes emoji and praised the track by calling it “maaaaaas.”

Dheere is a romantic track that shows the sizzling chemistry between Janhvi and her co-star Jr NTR. The song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander and sung by Shilpa Rao. The Hindi version lyrics are written by Kausar Munir. The dance steps are choreographed by Bosco Martis. It is titled Chuttamalle in Telugu, Paththavaikkum in Tamil, Swathimutthe Sikkaangaithe in Kannada and Kanninathan Kamannottam in Malayalam.
Devraa: Part 1 also stars Saif Ali Khan, Prakash Raj, Srikanth and Shine Tom Chacko. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is set to release in theatres on September 27.
Talking about Janhvi Kapoor’s film Uljhan, it was released in theaters on 2 August. In the film, Janhvi has played the role of a diplomat named Suhana Bhatia. Along with Janhvi, Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew, Adil Hussain, Rajendra Gupta, Rajesh Tailang, Meiyang Chang and Jitendra Joshi are also in important roles.
Directed by Sudhanshu Saria, the film traces Suhana’s professional and personal journey as she gets embroiled in a major conspiracy during an assignment at the London embassy. A special screening of Ulj was held in Mumbai ahead of its release. The event was attended by Janhvi’s fans including Arjun Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Shikhar Pahariya.
Moving forward, Janhvi also has Tulsi Kumari in the romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari apart from Deewana: Part 1.
