Jan Nayakan’s producer reacts to Vijay’s election victory; Fans are demanding CM title card
Jana Nayakan producer Venkat K Narayana congratulated Vijay after his political party, Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam crossed 100 seats in Tamil Nadu. Narayan shared a statement on Vijay’s performance in the elections.
Actor and Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam chief Vijay is leading in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, with his party crossing 100 of the 234 seats in the state. Amid congratulatory messages for what he described as his historic political debut, Jana Nayakan producer Venkat K Narayana shared a statement on Vijay’s performance in the elections.
The message was posted on the official X handle of KVN Productions, which has produced Jan Nayakan. The statement read: “Hearty congratulations to our ‘Jana Nayakan’ Thalapathy Vijay Sir for creating history today against all odds. This is truly a revolution and will echo for generations to come. – Venkat K Narayan (KVN) (sic).”

Many fans and supporters reacted to the post and asked for a new title card for Vijay which would mention “CM Thalapathy Vijay”. A fan commented, “No leader is declared elected by the people. Tamil Nadu is ready.” “Happiest person in the world (fire and laughing emojis),” another fan wrote.

Jan Naygan It was scheduled for release in January, but was postponed after it did not receive certification from the Central Board of Film Certification. After the CBFC objected to some of the content of the film, the producers went to court. The matter is pending in the court and the release of the film is stalled. In April, the film was leaked online, raising concerns about piracy in the Tamil film industry.
Directed by H Vinoth, Jan Naygan This is considered to be the last film of Vijay, who entered politics with TVK. The film also stars Mamita Baiju, Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol. It was originally scheduled to release in Pongal theatres, but was delayed due to certification issues.
The official release date of the film has not been announced yet.
