The Tamil superstar himself shared the trailer poster revealing the launch time and date. In the shared poster, Vijay is seen angry with a gun in his hand. Bobby Deol and Mamita Baiju are also present in the poster.
Thalapathy Vijay shared a fresh poster of his 69th film Jana Nayakan on his social media handle. The poster reveals that the trailer will be launched on January 3 at 6:45 pm. The huge power-packed trailer will be released in three languages – Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. The production house officially confirmed the development and tweeted, "#JannanayaganTrailer #JannaNetaTrailer #JannayakuduTrailer. Tamil, Telugu and Hindi trailers are releasing on January 3 at 6.45 pm."
For those who are unaware, Janaa Nayagan is Thalapathy Vijay’s last film. The actor himself announced his retirement from cinema during the audio launch in Malaysia. The excitement about the film is sky high. Set to release on the big screens on January 9, 2026, this political action drama is expected to shatter all previous box office records.
Apart from its original language, the film will also be released in dubbed Telugu and Hindi audio on the same day. Unlike Leo and The Greatest of All Time, Jan Nayakan will also be released in Hindi in multiplex series.
However, the biggest challenge for Jan Nayakan will be Prabhas’s The Raja Saab, which is releasing on the same day with Pongal/Sankranti 2026. Directed by H. Vinoth, this political-set mass action drama is rumored to be a remake of the Telugu film Bhagavan Kesari; However, there is no official confirmation on this. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, Mamita Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Priyamani, Narayan and many others in important roles.
