Jain irrigation net profit fell 8.5% to 11.19 crore in the June quarter

Jain irrigation systems on Saturday reduced the integrated net profit by 8.5 per cent 11.19 crore in the recent quarter ended June 2025.

Its net profit was Rs 12.23 crore in the previous period.

According to the regulatory filing, the total income in the April-June period of 2025-26 in the corresponding period of the previous year was Rs. 1,547.68 crore.

Anil Jain, Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Jain Irrigation System, said, “In the Q1 of FY 26, the company felt good demand for micro irrigation systems, tissue culture, export and solar agri pumps. We saw good growth and margins in the high-tech agri department.”

At the beginning of the monsoon in May, he said the company had seen an impact on the demand for the pipe.

      “Due to lack of demand, the margins for the pipe business were also under pressure,” Jain said.

      He said that the company’s attention towards retail and export has shown better results in terms of income growth and margins.

      “With the government’s commitment to invest in well -spread monsoon and infrastructure, we expect a resurgence of demand for piping business in H2FY26,” Jain said.

      In 2024-25, the Jain irrigation systems based in Maharashtra paid Rs. On a total revenue of Rs 5,793.24 crore, Rs. A net profit of Rs 25.69 crore.

      The company is engaged in the production of micro irrigation systems, PVCP pipes, HDPE pipes, plastic sheets, agro-processed products, renewable ENERGY minimum solutions, tissue culture plants, financial services and other agricultural inputs. PTI
