Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother dies due to health complications
Jacqueline Fernandez is mourning her mother’s loss, who died after being hospitalized in Mumbai. The actor and his family will soon issue a statement.
Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother, Kim Fernandez, died on Sunday after being hospitalized for several days at Lilavati Hospital.
The actor’s mother faced stroke on 24 March. Jacqueline also left her scheduled performance at the opening ceremony of the Indian Premier League in Guwahati last month to stay in favor of her mother.
The actor and his father were present in the hospital during their mother’s final moments.
Kim Fernandez of mixed Malaysian and Canadian Heritage acted as an aerial hostess in Bahrain during the 1980s. It was there that she met Elroy Fernandez, a Sri Lankan burger from Sri Lanka, who had moved to Bahrain to escape the civil struggle between Sinhalese and Tamil communities in Sri Lanka. The couple born four children, with Jacqueline – were born in 1985 – being the youngest, with their two brothers and a sister.
