Jackie Shroff has confirmed that he will be reuniting with Sanjay Dutt for Khalnayak Returns in the sequel to the 1993 cult hit. The veteran actor said that he has already talked to producers Subhash Ghai and Dutt about the project.

The sequel has garnered attention ever since it was announced by Sanjay Dutt earlier this year. “In prison, I asked everyone around me – who would be interested in watching it. And 4,000 prisoners said they would all watch. I asked them all to write a page about it (new) villain story), and it took me a while to read all 4,000 pages,” said the actor.
