Jonathan Bailey would love to be a father one day! In an interview with British Vogue, the actor, who is making headlines for his performance in the latest musical Wicked, made a new revelation. Bailey admitted that she hopes to welcome children into her life one day and has already started reading adoption books to prepare.

Yes, it is a great privilege for a man,” he said about having a child, but also clarified that he cannot bring children into his current lifestyle due to his busy schedule. The Bridgerton actor shared that he is waiting for the right time to make a lifestyle change. “I want to make sure I will be present. I’ve been reading books on adoption,” he said.

Bailey also teased his co-parenting plans, saying he “could do it with a woman but I’m thinking it would be with a man.” The actor rose to fame after playing the oldest Bridgerton sibling in the hit Netflix regency-based fantasy drama and has since signed on to several other big-label projects.

In an interview with People magazine, his Wicked co-star Ariana Grande revealed how they became fast friends while working on the film. “I feel like we were both very theater kids in the room,” he told the outlet. “I mean constantly,” Bailey shouted.

“And we were having a lot of fun together. That was a difficult thing for us. We were the hottest couple,” she said. However, they both agreed that his cheerful nature gave “fizz” to their chemistry. “Falling in love with each other as friends even in real life. That was a beautiful part of it. We had the most beautiful time,” the Thank U, Next singer said.

Grande plays Glinda in the musical prequel to The Wizard of Oz and Bailey plays her character’s dreamy lover Prince Fiyero, while Cynthia Erivo plays the titular green-skinned witch Elphaba. The cast also included Ethan Slater, Michelle Yeoh, Peter Dinklage, Bowen Yang, and many others.
