A popular crafting audience of YouTuber’s latest Vlogue was left in shock when her husband interrupted the video to declare that she died before completing her. Donna Jordan, who is widely known for her quilt tutorials and as the face of the family -owned ‘Jordan Fabrics Quilt Shop’, died after battling a disease for many years earlier this month.
Who appeared to be a regular tutorial, Donna Jordan spent 12 minutes of the video, explaining the options of the fabric and guided his audience through a quilt pattern. Vlog’s tone took an emotional turn when her husband, mat, appeared onscreen to share the heartbreaking news of her death.
He said, “Hi all. I am Matt Jordan, and this video will end here,” saying that his son James was unable to cut an end for it.
Matt Jordan said, “Unfortunately, Donna died at around 4 am on March 14. Donna has been battling a disease for a few years, and in the last three months it became more intense and required more treatment.”
He shared that he met him for the first time when both of them were 16 years old. She has been quilting for 51 years that they are together.
She said, “Donna loved what she did. She could not believe that she could cut money, make a quilt and teach people how to do it. It was such a blessing for her, and I hope a blessing for all of you. We will just miss her a lot here.”
He then talked about his family, along with his sons James and Peter, along with his daughters Michel and Monica. Despite Donna Jordan’s death, Matt promised his fans that family would continue their legacy by creating “all types” of content.
“Meanwhile, we will only honor Donna for that person. I am just so happy and honestly blessed him honestly to be a part of my life, and I hope you all enjoyed him in your life too,” he said.
The video concluded with a slideshow of paintings from Donna Jordan’s life, including her loved ones working on her posing and quilt.
The side note reads, “The last video of Donna. We are very grateful to all of you, Donna, her husband Matt, and her son James were all happy to share our happiness for the quilt for so many years. Thank you everyone for seeing.”
Over the years, Donna Jordan earned a big thanks for her video quilting tutorial on YouTube. She was running ‘Jordan Fabrics Quilt Shop’ with a team of 18 people, including her husband and two children.
