Later, in a statement, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu-led Israeli government said that Hamas was repeatedly forbidden to release our hostages after Hamas, as well as rejection of all proposals received from US President’s envoy Steve Witchoff and Middlestones. ,
Israel will now work with the “increased military force” against Hamas, it said.
Hamas held Sri Netanyahu “fully responsible for violating and turning into violation of the agreement.
The ceasefire violation “exposes prisoners in Gaza to an unknown fate”, it said in a statement.
Israel-we ceasefire talks stall
Israel wanted to expand the first phase of the three-phase ceasefire agreement, while Hamas said that it would resume freeing the hostages under the second phase which was scheduled to begin on 2 March.
Last week, Hamas said that it had agreed to release the US-Israeli soldier Aidan Alexander and four bodies of hostages if it agreed to immediately start negotiations when the second phase of the Israeli agreement was implemented. However, Israel accused the Palestinian Group of launching a “psychological war” against the families of the hostages.
The only previous Trus of the war took place in November 2023 for a week when Hamas released the hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.
The Gaza War began when Hamas raided a border in southern Israel on October 7, 2023, and killed about 1,200 people, mostly citizens. He also captured 251 hostages.
Since then, more than 47,000 Palestinians were killed and more than 1.12 lakhs were injured in Israel’s counter -attack. Gaza has a population of about 2.3 million homeless.
