Sarpata Parabarai was a big hit among the audience after directly released on OTT in 2021. While there has been an announcement for a sequel, find out if it is still in work.
Talking to Thi Cinemaz, Arya confirmed that the sequel Sarpatt Parabarai: Round 2 will start shooting soon. In his words, “Shooting of Sarpatta Part -2 begins on August. Currently, Pa Ranjith Sir is shooting for Vetuvam. Therefore, after completing the Vettuvam, Sarpatta 2 will begin.”
For those unknown people, Sarpatt Parabarai is a 2021 Tamil-Language Sports Action Drama, directed and co-written by Pa Ranjith with Tamiz Prabha. The film, established in the 1970s, focuses on a confrontation between Idiappa Parabarai and Sarpatt Parabarai, which have two clan in northern Chennai, which have been on obstacles over the years.
With the film, the story focuses on politics arising from boxing rule and how the culture affects the people of the field.
As Arya has played the lead role, the film offers a contingent of actors of actors in actors in actors in John Kokken, Shabir Kallarkkal, Dushara Vijayan, Pasupathi, Anupama Kumar, Sanchana Natarajan and many more important roles.

Arya was recently seen talking to the media as the Santhanam starrer Devils Double Next Level (DD Next Level) is hitting the big screen on 16 May 2025. The film, which is the sequel to the 2023 DD return and the 4th installment in the Dhiluku Dhaddu film series is co-built by Arya.
The upcoming horror comedy film includes Santhanam in the lead roles with Gethika Tiwari, Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Nizalgal Ravi, Kasturi Shankar and many more.
The Devils Double Next Level is written and directed by Prem Anand, which has to handle the musical track and score. On the other hand, Arya will be seen in the lead role in the film Mr. X next time.
