Ram Charan is currently shooting for his next film Peddi, which is scheduled to release in theaters on April 30, 2026. Amid rumors that the film may miss its release date and get postponed, the actor seems confident of releasing it on time.
Ram Charan says it “won’t be late” for Peddi to hit the theatres.
In the recent promo shared by the makers of Rakasa starring Sangeet Shoban, Ramcharan Appeared promoting the film, which is produced by his cousin Niharika Konidela. During the conversation, Charan told the team, “Promote your film well, Peddi will not be late.”
His comments come amid speculation that Peddie may be delayed. However, there has been no official confirmation from the makers regarding any postponement yet.

pedi It is said to revolve around a cricket tournament based on a rural backdrop. While Ram Charan plays the lead role, the ensemble cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiv Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, Boman Irani and others.
Written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports action drama is produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru and Ishaan Saxena under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment. Initially, the film was announced to release on March 27, 2026, but was later postponed to April 30.
Recently, the makers unveiled a glimpse of the film on Charan’s birthday, in which the actor is seen in a posed look as a wrestler wielding a mace.
Interestingly, the report shows that Mrinal Thakur Ram and Janhvi will be seen dancing with Kapoor in a song of the film. Although it has not been officially confirmed, speculations suggest that the song will be shot next week, and is the only part left to complete the production.
Ram Charan’s work front
Ram Charan was last seen in the lead role in the film Game Changer directed by S Shankar. The film is the story of an honest IAS officer who wants to eliminate corruption from the political system and comes into conflict with powerful politicians.
Apart from Charan, the film also stars Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Mika Srikanth and Jayaram in lead roles. The film received an overwhelming response from both critics and audiences and is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Looking ahead, the actor is expected to be seen in a film tentatively titled RC17 directed by Sukumar, which marks their reunion after the blockbuster Rangasthalam.
