Anil Ravipudi eyes an animated film with Toxic producers

With several successful projects in his kitty, Anil Ravipudi has become a popular filmmaker in the South. His thirst to be number one led him to join forces with the producers of Toxic and Jan Nyagan for a large-scale animation project. According to a report in Gulte, Anil is currently working on the film, which will be produced by KVN Productions. Currently this project is in pre-production stage.

Sources told the publication that Ravipudi has begun ground work for the project, including story development, character design and technical planning. Given the extensive preparation required to make an animated film, producers are planning a large-scale project using advanced technology.

Considering the detailed work required to take the project forward, industry insiders believe it will take a few years or even longer to become a reality. If things go well, this high-end animated project will add a new genre to Ravipudi’s filmography as he has been entertaining the audience with several comic capers. Having said that, the cast for this high-octane project is yet to be decided.

It is worth noting that KVN Productions has financed some big projects like Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, co-starring Jana Nayagan, Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol and Mamita Baiju.

He is also the co-producer of Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups. Geetu Mohandas’ upcoming gangster film also stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasanth. Releasing on June 4, 2026, Toxic is considered to be one of the most expensive Indian films to date. He has also financially supported Prem’s delayed action-drama film, KD: The Devil.
