Jayam Ravi announcing the end of his 15-year-old marriage with his wife Aarti Ravi came as quite a shocking news. Well, the once much-in-love couple strengthened people’s belief in love and shocked their fans with their decision to end their marriage. Since then, several speculations have been circulating on the internet about what exactly happened between the couple. And the latest scoop hints at the involvement of a third person, which led to their separation.

According to Tamil magazine Nakheeran, Jayam Ravi was reportedly in a secret relationship with Bangalore-based singer Kenisha Francis. Although this is just a rumour and has no fact-based source, the magazine report further claims that this was the main reason for the PS-I actor and his wife Aarti ending their marriage.

Well, the matter does not end here. Magazine Nakheeran further reported that Jayam and Kenisha were fined by the Goa Police for overspeeding in June. Matters worsened when Jayam’s wife Aarti received an alert regarding the fine, leading to unresolved disputes between the two.

In fact, things started to get worse for Jayam and Aarti when the actor refused to celebrate his 14th wedding anniversary with his wife and her family. Instead, the actor bought a bungalow in Goa with singer Kenisha Francis at the same time, as claimed by Tamil magazine Nakheeran.

For those who don’t know, another report by Filmibeat stated that Aarti Ravi and Jayam Ravi’s mother Sujatha Vijayakumar and her adopted son Shankar were behind the end of their marriage.

Old reports had stated that Jayam Ravi had a fight with his mother-in-law Sujatha and his brother-in-law Shankar during a particular shoot that the two had managed. In fact, it was also claimed that the actor’s mother-in-law had advised a filmmaker to reduce Jayam’s remuneration for his next film from the desired Rs 25 crore, claiming that the star no longer had the fame and market to pay that much.
