It is believed that this phone is the Indian variant of iQOO Z11 Turbo, which was launched in China last month. The phone has Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. And despite packing a massive 7600 mAh battery, the company claims that it is the thinnest phone in India.
iQOO 15R: what we know
The iQOO 15R is designed keeping in mind young consumers, especially those who enjoy mobile gaming. The smartphone supports gameplay up to 144FPS powered by supercomputing chip Q2.
Design-wise, the iQOO 15R features a square camera module with two horizontally arranged lenses with a circular outline. The rear panel has a distinctive checkered texture.
Performance-wise, the iQOO 15R claims an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 3.5 million. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and packs a large 7,600mAh battery with 100W FlashCharge support.
The iQOO 15R comes with OriginOS 6 out of the box and comes with four years of OS updates and six years of security updates. The device also includes a One Tap Transfer feature that allows users to quickly migrate apps and data from both Android and iOS devices.
The smartphone will be available in two color variants: Triumph Silver and Dark Knight. Additionally, the device will have both IP68 and IP69 ratings.
The iQOO 15R includes a suite of AI tool features, such as AI Creation in Notes allows users to rewrite text, summarize documents, and correct grammar, while AI Captions provides real-time transcription and translation. The phone comes with integration of Google Gemini and Circle Two Search.
For photos, users get tools like AI Erase and AI Reflection Erase to remove objects or glare, AI Magic Move to adjust subjects, AI Image Expander to enhance backgrounds, and AI Image Cut-Out to extract subjects. An AI document scanning feature is also included to help digitize paperwork.

The leak suggests that the iQOO 15R will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. On the camera front, the phone is likely to have a 200-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor. The front camera is tipped to be a 32-megapixel shooter.
