iQOO 15R goes on sale, brings Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and 7,600mAh battery for Rs 44,999
The sale of iQOO 15R has started in India. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and houses a massive 7,600mAh battery.
iQOO 15R is now available in India. The phone was launched on February 24 and goes on sale today from March 3 across online and offline channels at a starting price of Rs 44,999. For under Rs 45,000, the iQOO is offering some high-end specs including a faster Qualcomm chip and a larger battery. There are other niceties, too, including a fast and intuitive display and the latest Android software. However the real USP is the compact size of the phone. iQOO describes it as a powerful phone with a perfect fit. In other words, it’s got major power, but it’s also pocketable.

iQOO 15R full specifications and features
The iQOO 15R features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000nits peak brightness. On the processor front, the iQOO 15R is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of storage.
In terms of photography, the smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700V main camera sensor with an optically stabilized lens and another 8-megapixel ultra-wide. And on the front, the iQOO 15R sports a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
On the battery front, the device packs a 7,600mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. Bypass charging option is also available.
The iQOO 15R runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16, with iQOO committing to 4 years of major OS and 6 years of security updates.
The phone has a unique design with a distinctive checkered texture on the back. It is IP68 and IP69 certified. Color options include Triumph Silver and Dark Knight.
iQOO 15R price, offers and availability
The iQOO 15R comes in three configurations. The base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available in India for Rs 44,999. The other two variants 12GB RAM and 512GB storage and 12GB RAM and 512GB storage are available at Rs 47,999 and Rs 52,999 respectively.
Talking about offers, customers can get an instant discount of Rs 4,000 on HDFC and Axis Bank credit, debit and EMI transactions. The company is also offering iQOO/Vivo TWS earbuds priced at Rs 1,899 along with iQOO 15R.
