iQOO 15: top features
Premium OLED Display: This time, iQOO has significantly upgraded the display on its flagship compared to its predecessor. The iQOO 15 features a large 6.85-inch 2K Samsung OLED panel with a 144Hz LTPO refresh rate. It promises up to 2,600 nits of global peak brightness and up to 6,000 nits in HDR. The display also supports Dolby Vision, triple ambient light sensors, an anti-reflective coating, and 2160Hz PWM dimming for better eye comfort.
Advanced Cooling System: To maintain performance during long gaming sessions or heavy multitasking, the iQOO 15 is equipped with its 8K Vapor Chamber cooling system. iQOO highlights that this larger chamber spans key components like the chipset and battery, which helps in better heat management and reduces throttling under sustained load.
Power of Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5: The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 sits at the core of the device, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. This is Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset to date and promises faster app performance, higher frame-rate gaming, better AI processing, and efficient multitasking.
Triple camera setup with telephoto lens: The iQOO 15 comes with a triple 50-megapixel camera system that houses a Sony IMX921 primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel IMX882 3x periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. The brand says the telephoto lens has been optimized for clear results in the 3x-5x zoom range, with computational enhancements for better clarity at 10x. On the front, the 32MP selfie camera supports 4K 60fps video recording, making it suitable for vloggers and content creators.
Large battery with fast charging: All this performance is powered by a 7,000mAh silicon-anode battery – one of the largest battery units in a flagship device this year. With 100W FlashCharge, the phone refuels quickly. iQOO also includes a Battery Life Extender mode, which restores your last used apps when you turn the phone back on after a shutdown.
