Apple’s affordable iPhone is likely to be declared in less than two days, but uncertainty is uncertainty on what it will actually be called. Instead of launching a new model in the iPhone SE series, the company can plan to introduce a new affordable version in the iPhone 16 series. As mentioned above, it can be called iPhone 16E.

According to Leaks, the upcoming iPhone will have a modern design feature, moving away from the dated looks of the previous SE model. It has been touched to come with an OLED display from the edge of 6.1-inch. Along with this, there is also reported support for face ID. Internal, Apple is asked to offer its latest A18 chip, which is currently used in its major iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models.

The new budget iPhone is also rumored to have 8GB RAM and Apple having its own 5G modem, a jump from recycled hardware is usually found in the SE model. This can give the device a commonly viewed performance in a high-ended phone, making it a strong contender in the mid-range premium segment.
