Dummy units showing the sizes of the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra (that’s actually the name the iPhone Fold is rumored to get) have been leaked today. Dummy units are created based on CAD renders sent to case manufacturers, so they’re usually accurate down to the most important details – things like overall shape and dimensions, as well as the size and shape of the camera islands.
In the family shot above you can see that the iPhone Ultra doesn’t have MagSafe support, which is definitely an interesting omission. We can’t clearly tell if it has wireless charging, without MagSafe, or lacks it altogether. Anyway, the iPhone Ultra only has two cameras, which may be surprising considering it’s rumored to be the most expensive iPhone in history.
In the image above we see the iPhone 17 Pro Max dummy unit on the left next to the iPhone 18 Pro Max dummy unit on the right. As you can see, the design is unchanged, but the iPhone 18 Pro Max has a noticeably thicker camera island. In fact, the thickness of the iPhone 18 Pro Max when including the camera plateau is 11.54mm (up from 11.23mm on its predecessor), and the total thickness when including the cameras is 13.77mm, up from 12.92mm on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.
Now let’s look at the iPhone Ultra in its unfolded state, comparing it to the iPhone 17 Pro Max. The screen width of the Ultra is basically the same length as the Pro Max. The Ultra is said to be 111.5 mm long.
Finally, here’s the iPhone Ultra dummy unit again compared to the iPad Mini. The iPhone screen is going to be smaller, but since it will have thinner bezels, the difference won’t be huge.

The iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Ultra are rumored to launch together at Apple’s annual event in September, with the iPhone 18, iPhone 18e, and iPhone Air 2 arriving only next spring.
