What is the industry chain about?

Into the Industry follows new finance graduates as they navigate the real-world landscape of the high-pressure finance industry and search for jobs in a deprived market. The timeline is set in London during the recessionary period following the 2008 financial crisis.

This HBO drama is essentially an insider’s look at the grim realities of the financial world, with a particular focus on the London office of international bank Pierpoint & Co.

In addition to mundane graphs and numbers, the narrative also features provocative storylines between characters and the drug-filled culture of Bank Pierport.

Season 3 will see the London office go through with its big bet on ethical investing against the IPO of Henry Mock’s green-focused company, Lumi. According to the official logline of Season 3, Myhala is eager to return to the finance sector after leaving her former job and boss Eric and finds a partner in Petra Koenig. The overarching plot of the story explores the functionality of the finance, media, and government sectors.
