Indian man in Britain found out that his car does not have AC.

An Indian man living in the UK explained how unprepared the country was to deal with the heatwave and why 33 degrees in the UK feels different from 45 degrees in New Delhi. Sharma also said that he recently found out that his car does not have AC and it cannot be installed as there is no space for AC. He said that his New Delhi friends were laughing at him when he told them about his struggle at 33 degree temperature in the UK, as the temperature in Delhi is even higher, but he told that there is no ceiling fan or AC in the UK. He explained, it is like when there is a power failure in New Delhi and there is no backup.Sharma advised Britons to check this feature before buying a car, saying, “Let me tell you how unprepared Britain was for this heat. So I got this car three months ago. So I didn’t use the AC for the first two months and in the last two weeks I thought it’s really hot now, finally it’s time to turn on the AC.”“I turned on the AC, and it was not cooling. So as any other normal person would think, I thought maybe the gas has leaked, I need to refill the gas, so I booked it to the mechanic. I gave my car, I went after an hour, I asked him if the car was okay and the guy said, ‘Where do you want me to refill the gas? There is no AC in your car.’ I said, ‘What do you mean there’s no AC in the car?’ He said, ‘Your car is made without AC.’ I said, ‘No, that can’t be true.’ Even the Maruti 800 in India had AC, man. That is a very old car. He opened Google and it showed me, in the UK, certain brands made cars in specific years, they just had a heater and fan. Now I am stuck with this car in this summer, and if AC doesn’t come with it you can’t even install it because there is no space in the bonnet, they haven’t given enough space. Oh my God,” Sharma said.Friday (26 June) was confirmed by the Met Office as the UK’s hottest June day ever, with a provisional temperature of 37.3C recorded in Santon Downham, Suffolk, surpassing the high of 36.7C recorded in Maryfield, Somerset on Thursday. An extreme heat warning will be in place for the south east of England and East Anglia from midnight until 9pm on Saturday. The Met Office said next week would bring a mixed picture for UK weather, with a combination of cloud and sunshine, with occasional showers from the west.
