R in Rome will stand for romance in Emily’s much awaited season 5 in Paris! Emily Cooper of Lily Collins will be included by her new Italian bee Marcello (Eugenio Francechini). The variety has confirmed that the latest season of the beloved Netflix series will stop production in Rome this May and Paris will run later in summer.
The fifth season will follow the title character as she navigates her life and love in Rome after opening an egg grate office, as her boss worked. But two of her two-boyfriends, sexy French chefs, Gabriel (Lucas Bravo), and Dashing Brit, Alyfi (Lucian Laviscount), will possibly disrupt her new budding romance.
While the initial production will be set in Rome, French artists will return to shooting, most likely during Paris production. Philippine Leroy-Byuliyu has played the role of Emily’s nonchaland and cool boss Silvi Grato. Samuel Arnold and Bruno will resume their roles as Gauri Julian and Luke.
Ashley Park will also return to play the role of Emily’s Besty Mindi Chen, who has their own love triangle. However, Camili Razat, who played the role of chemilli in the show, will not be brought back again. This surprised the fans who would be the villain in the upcoming season.
Season 4’s debutant Anti, Geneviv, Thalia, has not yet been signed to return. Given the daughter of French director Luke Besan, her casting can be confirmed later.
So far in the show, Emily is ending in her professional life, but her love life has been in a mess until she finally chose Gabriel on Alfi. After waiting for four sessions, fans were finally seen two characters in a legal relationship. However, problems arose when Camily stopped her pregnancy with Gabriel.
Emily is ready for premiere on Netflix in 2025 in Paris season 5.
