But Computex 2025Synology announced two new products aimed at making things easier for big businesses: PAS7700 storage solutions to store large amounts of data and C2 monitoring system to keep a close watch on security. The new PAS7700 is a powerful, all-flow storage system designed to handle important tasks without any break. On the other hand, C2 monitoring is a cloud-based system that helps businesses monitor their sites without the need to install complex servers.
Synology PAS7700 is designed for companies that require sharp and reliable storage systems. It comes with two controllers and location for 48 high-speed NVME SSDs in 4U-sized chassis. If more space is required, it can be extended to keep 1.65PB data. It supports a wide range of file types and methods of connection, so businesses can easily move their data and manage. It also allows up to 2,048GB memory upgrade and supports 100Gbe high-speed networking.
“By combining our deep software and hardware development expertise with close collaboration with partners and enterprise customers, we have engineered the PAS7700 to give an ultra-high performance at an already unseen price in the enterprise storage market”, said Keneth Hasu, director of the system group in Sinology.
The PAS7700 stands out has its active-active system. This means that it consists of two controllers that work together all the time, so even if one fails, the other keeps the other things smoothly. It also has built-in safety features such as automatic backup and snapshot, which helps protect significant data from damage or damage.
In terms of performance, Synology says that PAS7700 can reach 2 million IOPs and speeds up to 30GB/s, which means that it can handle several tasks at a time without slowing down. It also supports its devices such as drives and offices of synology, and can serve more users at the same time than old systems. Synology also promises that it provides top-level performance at a much lower price than other high-end storage systems.
Along with PAS7700, Synology also launched C2 monitoring, a new cloud-based video monitoring system. This device is designed for businesses that have cameras in many places. Since it does not require a particular hardware or additional software license, it is easy to set and expand it. Users can connect cameras within a few minutes – even using a phone. “Our goal has always been to create a comprehensive monitoring ecosystem that enables spontaneous integration and management to our customers,” said Josh Lynn, director of the monitoring group of Cinology.
A major feature of the C2 monitoring system is its continuity-first-first design. If the internet goes down, the cameras still record on their memory card. Once the connection returns, everything returns to the cloud. It also supports viewing offline failure and includes features such as AI detection, safe login and strong encryption to protect videos.
Both PAS7700 storage solution and C2 surveillance system will be available later this year.
