IFIXIT Samsung Galaxy S25 admits Ultra’s battery Bridge tab, but the screen is still difficult to remove

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra “In the long run may be one of Samsung’s most repair -friendly phones,” says Effixit after separating the phone and searching for the available repair options. Nevertheless, the phone received only 5/10 repair scores (provisional) – this is better than most Samsung flagship in recent memory, but still leaves a lot to be desired.

The favorite part of IFIXIT is the battery – four sticky tabs surround the battery and hold it in place. Peel those people and the battery falls right out. There is no need for heat, isopropile alcohol or elbow grease.

He said, some things did not work with hope. Samsung switchs back to a flat display to this generation and must be easy to remove. And yet removing the S25 Ultra display proved to be quite a struggle for an experienced user. The good news is that there is nothing under the performance, in fact. The only reason to remove it is whether it has already broken.

More – most cameras are modular and easy to replace. Four modules on the back are conducted by screws and can be easily swapped when needed. The selfie camera, however, is epoxied in place. It is not impossible to remove, but again, the experienced IFIXIT team found it challenging – trying to get regular people of the house out, there will be a difficult time.

The position of S Pen is a real head-skill. You must have heard that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has an indestured charger which sends power to Bluetooth-Saksham Stylus in the previous generations. Well, Effixit separated the S Penn and found that it is similar to the previous generations.

PCB is still, but all chips that work Bluetooth functions are not populated. In addition, the capacitor who provided electricity to the stylus, while it was outside the phone, has been removed. This means that the PCB is completely unnecessary and yet it is.

In summary, the new sticky tabs for the battery are great. (Most) modular cameras also competed with the repair score of Galaxy S25 Ultra. Screen replacement is still a pain, though. Samsung also needs to improve its repair documentation, saying Effixit, and sells replacement parts individually rather than bundles.
