Dhanush’s third directorial venture Nilavukku En Male Ennady Cobham aka Neek is scheduled to release in theaters on February 21, 2025. As the film is about to release in theaters soon, Idli Kadai producer Akash Baskaran has reviewed the film ahead of its release.

movie Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Cobham (aka NEEK) is an upcoming romantic comedy co-written, produced and directed by Dhanush. The film stars the actor’s nephew Pavish in the lead role, marking his debut in cinema.
Apart from her, the film also stars Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Warrier, Matthew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabia Khatoon and many more in lead roles.
The film, touted as “a simple love story”, was initially scheduled to be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth in 2016, with Dhanush in the lead role. However, when the project did not succeed, the actor borrowed the script and revived the project with himself as the director.
The film was initially planned for release on February 7, 2025, a week before Valentine’s Day; However, it was later postponed to 21 February. The film is Dhanush’s third directorial venture after his previous films Pa Paandi and Raayan.
Looking ahead, Dhanush will be seen in the film Kubera directed by Shekhar Kammula. The film, which stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna in the co-lead roles, has already revealed some interesting character glimpses.
Apart from this, Dhanush is also directing and acting in the film Idli KadhaiHis fourth venture as a director. The film is considered to be a good drama based on the village background. It is said to star Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Rajkiran and many more in supporting roles.
Apart from these projects, actor Amaran is set to collaborate with director Rajkumar Periyasamy and is also rumored to be reuniting with Vaathi director Venky Atluri.
